Dispute Resolution

1. Contact Us First

If you have any questions or concerns about an order, payment, delivery, returns, or the use of barorae.com, please contact us first at help@barorae.com. We aim to resolve issues quickly and fairly through direct communication.

2. Informal Resolution

Before starting any formal legal process, you agree to provide us a reasonable opportunity to review your concern and respond. When contacting us, please include your order number (if applicable), a brief description of the issue, and any supporting information that may help us investigate.

3. Evidence and Records

To evaluate and resolve disputes, we may review and retain relevant records such as order confirmations, transaction reference identifiers, delivery/tracking status, return authorization details, and customer communications. For payment-related disputes, we may provide relevant order and fulfillment information to payment processors (including Stripe and PayPal) or card networks for review, consistent with our Payment Policy and Privacy Policy.

4. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect or unauthorized, please contact us before filing a chargeback whenever possible. Filing a chargeback may delay resolution while the payment provider reviews the claim. If a chargeback is initiated, we may submit supporting documentation (such as order details and delivery confirmation) to assist in the investigation.

5. Governing Law and Venue

These dispute resolution terms, and any disputes arising from or related to your use of the Site or purchases made through it, are governed by United States law and the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any legal action must be brought exclusively in the state courts located in Michigan, and you consent to the jurisdiction and venue of those courts.

6. Time Limit for Claims

To the extent permitted by law, any claim or cause of action relating to the Site, an order, or these policies must be filed within one (1) year after the claim arises; otherwise, the claim is permanently barred.

7. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws. If certain dispute terms are not enforceable in your jurisdiction, the remaining terms will still apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
